Novedades en libros 04/04/2011 y una pequeña reseña.

La verdad es que este lunes pasado se me ha ido el presupuesto en traer encargos, así que poca cosa. Esencialmente han quedado expuestos a la venta dos títulos nuevos: «El tío Petros y la conjetura de Goldbach» que, si, es de uno de los griegos que guionizaron el tebeo de la entrada inmediatamente anterior de este blog (tanto me gustó); y «Axolote atropellado», de Helene Hegemann.

Bueno, qué decir de este último. La verdad es que el retraso en la publicación de las novedades de esta semana se debe principalmente a mi decisión de leerlo antes que nada. Quería yo saber, con una muequita de escepticismo, qué tipo de monerías escribe una cría de 16 años para «escandalizar a Alemania», según la banda sobrecubierta. Pero ojito, papás y mamás, que, a pesar de lo que parecen sugerir los eufemismos de la reseña en la contraportada, el librito no es para vuestros pequeños Emos.

Nada más empezar se me borró la sonrisilla, no por la aparente desafección de la narración a las estructuras clásicas a las que estoy acostumbrado sino porque, a pesar de ello,  estaba entendiendo bastante bien lo que se me quería transmitir. Con un estremecimiento, caí en la cuenta de que me encontraba ante mi primera incursión en la literatura posmoderna (Philip K. Dick aparte, que es de género). Se ve que la autora ha mamado contracultura desde la más tierna infancia y ha leído desmedidamente a Pynchon, Foster Wallace y compañía. Y su edad la equipa tambien cibernéticamente con todo el conocimiento desestructurado proporcionado por la internet en forma de blogs, wikipedias y foros de anoréxicas. Sostienen estas suposiciones mías sobre Fraulein Hegemann ciertas polémicas habidas sobre la intertextualidad de la obra, que obligó a la editorial a citar fuentes al final del libro.

Literatura vanguardista, supuse pues desde mi más absoluto desconocimiento, pero sin evidenciar desánimo alguno. Seguí leyendo y, aunque al principio la naturaleza en apariencia episódica e inconexa de la narración me pareció hasta futurista (por lo adecuada para su uso en libros electrónicos y teléfonos gameboy), lo cierto es que subyace una sólida hiperestructura que se va registrando subconscientemente, dando forma al delirio (muy… verosimil, por cierto) de la protagonista.

Quien, por cierto y a pesar (de nuevo) de la reseña de la contraportada, no es simplemente una adolescente disociada y politoxicómana, sino algo mucho más triste y además, lo más importante, intelectualmente precoz. Pero con la suficiente ironía, a pesar de todo, como para no resultar pedante. Se le coge mucho cariño.

Debo decir que mi desfloración con este estilo de literatura ha sido plenamente satisfactorio. Tengo aquí «Contraluz» y «La broma infinita» y cosas así. ¿Debería lanzarme a la lectura de obras así como más genuinas? No sé, puede que este libro en concreto me haya gustado porque, lo confieso, tuve una novia como la autora. Y la protagonista también me ha traido bastantes recuerdos.
